Interconnected photoelectric smoke alarms must be installed on each storey, all bedrooms and hallways of each rental property.
These smoke alarms must be powered by mains power or a non-removable 10 year lithium battery.

What we do as part of our smoke alarm service.
- We contact your tenant to arrange a suitable time to carry out servicing either by phone or entry notice, within 30 days prior to a new lease or renewal of an existing lease.
- Maintain and service smoke alarms in the property to meet compliance.
- Compliancy check of locations of existing smoke alarms throughout property to ensure they meet AS 3786-2014, this also includes relocation if required.
- Installation of additional smoke alarms to meet new legislative requirements.
- Replacement of faulty smoke alarms if within manufacturer’s warranty period.
- All services to be carried out during normal business hours Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm, excluding public holidays
